The Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia honored the co-founders of the DCVLP -- Jenny Brody, Karen Barker Marcou, Marla Spindel -- as “Stars of the Bar” at its annual reception on September 17, 2009, in recognition of the DCVLP’s contribution to community service.

 

The DCVLP extends its sincere appreciation to the WBA for this award and will continue to expand opportunities for lawyers reentering the workforce to use their legal skills in helping their communities.
