Domestic Violence Resource Clinic

With the District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH) and My Sister’s Place, we provide free legal services, housing assistance, counseling, and more at our weekly Domestic Violence Resource Clinic. Our walk-in clinic is child-friendly and accessible by public transportation. Services are available in Spanish (servicios en español).

At the clinic, clients can meet with:

  • DCVLP attorneys, who provide legal advice and assistance with civil protection orders, family law, and immigration issues;
  • DASH housing experts, for advice on housing options; and
  • A social worker from My Sister’s Place or DCVLP, for a needs assessment, crisis counseling, safety planning, and referrals.

Additional services include transportation assistance, substance abuse counseling, and Medicaid registration.

Who:
For survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking

When:
Every Wednesday from 1PM to 3:30 PM – no appointment needed

400 I Street SW (Westminster Presbyterian Church) – one block from Waterfront Metro
