While the world seems to be coming to a halt, we are continuing to provide legal and support services to our existing clients and are now offering Domestic Violence Call-In Legal Clinics to offer legal advice, emotional support, and targeted referrals to domestic violence victims, caregivers of at-risk children, and other vulnerable victims in the District.
All Civil Protection Orders (CPOs) are extended through May 15. If you would like your CPO extended beyond May 15, you need to request an extension. This request must be made before the original expiration date. Please contact us for help with a request to extend.

If your abuser is in custody, you have rights as a crime victim to be notified about the abuser’s whereabouts, and it is critical that the prosecutor have your current contact information.
