We are excited to announce our long-awaited return to in-person trainings! New and veteran volunteers are invited to join us for a full-day CPO workshop series on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 at King & Spalding.

Join us in the morning for “Civil Protection Order Litigation: Everything You Need to Know to Help a DV Survivor Achieve Safety.” In the afternoon, DCVLP’s Client Advocates will discuss “Trauma-Informed Legal Advocacy: Insights and Strategies” and DCVLP Supervising Attorneys will explore “Negotiation Skills: How to Effectively Negotiate with Attorneys and Pro Se Parties to Achieve Your Client’s Goals in a CPO Case.”

New volunteers are encouraged to join for the full day; veteran volunteers are welcome to attend as many workshops as your schedule permits.
