Heather Lamberg, DCVLP’s newest board member

We are delighted to announce that Heather Lamberg, a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP in Washington D.C., has joined our Board of Directors effective September 15, 2020. Not only is Heather an accomplished and successful lawyer, she is a survivor of domestic violence.  Heather safely escaped her abuser three years ago, in part, because of the protections of a Civil Protective Order.  She knows the difficulties and importance of getting quality legal representation in that process, and wants to use that experience to help other women be safe as well.

“As a board member, Heather’s unique perspective as a lawyer and survivor will help ensure that our clients’ voices are heard,” says Sara B. Tennen, DCVLP’s Executive Director. Heather is eager to put her “difficult experiences with domestic violence to positive use” and is “looking forward to working with other board members to improve the lives of the District’s most vulnerable populations.”

In private practice, Heather is an antitrust lawyer who has significant experience representing clients facing global criminal price fixing investigations and related follow-on class actions.  She has helped clients navigate the difficult web of facing multiple, simultaneous government investigations around the world.  In addition, Heather represents clients in a wide variety of antitrust litigations, involving issues such as  monopolization, price-fixing, wage-fixing, no-poach agreements, group boycotts, exclusive dealing, tying, price discrimination, predatory pricing, unfair competition and other restraints of trade.

Heather was listed in the 2020 and 2021 editions of The Best Lawyers in America© for Litigation – Antitrust, was listed as one of the leading Competition & Antitrust practitioners in the world by Expert Guides’ Women in Business Law 2017, and was named as one of Benchmark Litigation’s “Top 250 Women in Litigation” in 2018, 2019, and 2020. She was also recognized in Benchmark Litigation as a “National Practice Area Star” and “District of Columbia Litigation Star” for Antitrust and General Commercial Litigation. Heather received her B.A. from Macalester College and her J.D. for Georgetown University.

We have been thrilled to have Heather as a volunteer lawyer and are delighted to have her join our Board of Directors! Welcome, Heather!
