Civil Protection Order Training

GOAL

This training provides an overview of the process for litigating Civil Protection Order (CPO) cases on behalf of domestic violence survivors in DC Superior Court.

TRAINING PROCESS

  • Submit Availability

    Indicate which days you would be available to be in court 8:30am-5pm for a CPO hearing on our Doodle poll to be placed on a case. Note that you should also plan to be generally available during the two weeks leading up to the hearing to meet with your client and prepare your case.

  • Case Assignment

    We will use the availability you indicate on the Doodle poll to assign you a case.
